Do you sell desks?
What happens if my package is lost or stolen?
If anything "South African" happens while your new desk set-up makes its journey to you, we'll either completely refund you or resend your order.
Please note that Desk Lab only applies this insurance cover up until your order has been delivered, once delivery has been confirmed Desk Lab can not be held liable for any damages that occur due to improper assembly, transportation &/or handling.
Can I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?
Yes you can.
To successfully log an edit to your order you must contact us within 24 hours from the time the order was placed & let us know which items you would like to change.
Please note that any request to edit an order after 24 hours from the time the order was placed will result in a processing fee of R150.

Unfortunately we do not accept cash on delivery, that is dodgy.
Can I pay via EFT?
Yes you can.
To speed up the process, all you need to do is send us the required POP as soon as you make a payment & we'll take care of the rest!
Please note that EFT orders will only be processed once we receive POP (proof of payment) sent directly from your bank & the funds have cleared in our account.

Are my Credit Card details safe?
Yes they are.
We have a secure guard (he's kept very safe) & a car guard although nobody has seen him since Wednesday, but together your details are as safe as Eskom's coal.

How do I use my Discount Voucher?
Who doesn't enjoy a discount? Not us.
We've tried to keep things simple so all you need to do is enter your voucher code during checkout to claim your discount.

Return & Exchange
How do I return my order?
To return or exchange an order you need to contact us within 10 days upon reception of your order & make sure that:
- The item/items are free of any damage
- The item/items are in the original & intact packaging
- All tools, instruction manuals, etc are included
- Sale & Gift items are not eligible for returns or exchanges
Only once your return or exchange has been verified will we process your request.
Please note that we will not accept a return or exchange if the item/items are damaged through incorrect assembly. If the item/items have been damaged during delivery, you must contact us immediately with photographic evidence so that we can process your return or exchange as fast as possible. A fair shipping & handling fee may be charged.
If my return is verified what happens to my bucks?
Fear not, we aren't run by South African politicians.
Once your return or refund has been verified, your hard earned moolah will be back into your account in no time.
For those that require something more specific, your bucks will be back within 3-5 business days.
Can I exchange my order if I'm not happy with the colour I chose?
Of course you can, we offer exchanges on all Desk Lab branded products.
Exchanges must be initiated within 10 days after you receive your order & make sure that:
- The item/items are free of any damage
- The item/items are in the original & intact packaging
- All tools, instruction manuals, etc are included
- Sale & Gift items are not eligible for returns or exchanges

If I return an order will I get a complete refund or a store voucher?
Please note that this only applies to an order that has been verified. A fair handling & shipping fee may be charged to any complete refund.
If I return or exchange an order will there be a penalty fee?
As per The Consumer Protection Act & The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act , a fair shipping & handling fee may be charged from refunds.

Do you charge a delivery fee?
Why was only part of my order delivered?
On occasion we will ship your order in multiple boxes, this can happen if:
- Parts of your order are not in stock & we hate to keep you waiting
- Desk Lab branded products are manufactured to order, some items might be ready sooner than others
So don't stress, there will not be any extra charges to you.
How can I track my order?
When your order is shipped we will provide you with a tracking number which can then be used to Track your parcel as it makes its journey to you.
Please note that to track your order you will be taken to our delivery partners tracking website.
How long will my order take to be delivered?
Desk Lab products are manufactured especially for you after placing an order.
This means we have slightly higher lead times of 3-6 weeks, but rest assured it will be worth the wait!

What is your Desk Frame?
Desk Frame is our flat packed twin leg steel desk frame.

- Compatible with any wooden top from 1200mm - 1800mm in length & 600mm - 850mm in width
What are your desks manufactured from?
Our desk frames are manufactured from rock solid powder coated steel & the highest quality sustainably sourced wood based material is used for our desk tops/desk shelves.
Please note that solid wood desk top & shelf options are available on request.
What is powder coating?
Powder Coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder to objects which are then cured until set.
Advantages vs Conventional Liquid Paint- Powder coatings are much freindlier to the environment as they contain no solvents & release little or no amount of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) into the atmosphere
- Powder coatings can produce much thicker coatings than conventional liquid paint without running or sagging
- Powder coated items generally have better resistance to scratches, chipping, colour fading, rust & corrosion
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes they do.
Desk Lab products come with a 2 Year Warranty on rust & corrosion.
Please note that this only applies to our powder coated steel products.
Are your desks easy to assemble?
Yes they are.
