Desk Lab products are manufactured in South Africa, they come to you brand new & ready for fragging action but we are a fussy old nation & if for any reason you do not love our products you can arrange for a quick exchange or an easy refund. That's cool, right?

Return & Exchange Policy

Disclaimer

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days from reception of your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your order must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged/unused, with all tools/accessories and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase & order number.

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@desklab.co.za with your order number & the details of your query. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds & Exchanges

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund or exchange was approved or not. If approved, you'll be refunded & may now place the correct order.

Refunds

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the items you have, and once the return is accepted, place a new order using the voucher code provided to you.

Exceptions

Desk Lab will not accept a return if:

  • The item has been damaged by improper use or installation carried out by the customer. (somebody didn't bother to read the instructions)
  • The customer does not notify us within 7 days from date of reception. (from the day you receive your items)
  • The scheduled return date is not met by the customer. (somebody has forgotten something)

Non-returnable Items

These items do not qualify for a return:

  • Sale items (items sold on Black Friday, Christmas, etc.)
  • Bonsai Kits (these are gifts, people)
  • Gift Cards (the clue is in the name)
  • Custom Orders (special orders or customized desks)

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note that: During the journey to their new home some of your items may unfortunately have a rough time. Upon reception please inspect your order & notify us immediately if anything has arrived defective or damaged. Don't forget to include photographic evidence in your query & e-mail us along with the other details of your order to returns@desklab.co.za.
